When building a corner, it is very important to properly select your stones and their placement.

In order to insure good drainage I'm using 1" clean for backfill after each course is packed with the proper hearting.

A great shot of a few tools of the trade. The hammer on the left has two carbide cutting edges and is my primary walling hammer! This hammer is by far the best tool of the lot.
