We are happy to announce two workshops in Fayette County, Kentucky at the end of May.
May 26-27 (Fri-Sat) we will offer a two-day introductory workshop. Introductory Workshops are designed for drystone enthusiasts with little to no previous experience who would like to gain a basic understanding of drystone construction techniques. The pace will be comfortable and participants will learn the fundamental skills needed to build and repair a typical rock fence or retaining wall. Led by DSC Master Craftsman, Neil Rippingale, it should be an excellent opportunity to learn from one of the best. More information and registration can be found here.
May 28 (Sun) we will offer a single-day wallhead construction workshop. This workshop will also be led by Neil Rippingale. It will be a chance for those who have already taken a workshop and are wanting to advance some of their skill. This course will skim over some stone dressing techniques to fabricate the stones for use in wallheads, lintel, etc. More information, and registration can be found here.
