On June 23rd at the Bluegrass Trust For Historic Preservation's Annual Awards Ceremony and Summer Supper, the Dry Stone Conservancy was awarded this year's Preservation Craftsman Award. We've been at this for a long time and are proud to have been awarded this honor. The Bluegrass Trust works tirelessly to promote the modern preservation movement and they deserve much praise for their hard work and dedication. The Dry Stone Conservancy would not be in a position to receive such an award without our group of passionate stone masons, our board and staff, and our founder: Carolyn Murray-Wooley.
